Dofus Race
The term Dofus race is often used to describe the twelve character classes in the game. Each of the classes is associated with a divinity that is the origin of its name and is also the source of its powers. Sometimes people refer to the members of each class as a race.
Each Dofus race is from its own section of the world and has unique characteristics and abilities that make it unique from the others. For example, the Ecaflip or Ecaflip’s Coin are known as warriors for love gambling above all else. They would chance their own life on the roll of the dice. But not every Dofus race is like this. Some prefer to play it safe.
The Eniripsa or Eniripsa’s Hands are wonderful faerie healers that also have the power to hurt enemies with their healing abilities. They also search the earth for forgotten languages and obscure words that will make them more powerful. The Iops need to draw blood at least once a day just to feel alive. These warriors are strong fighters that make valiant knights. Another Dofus race is the Pandawa. These have only one thing on their mind- the drink. All of their fighting techniques are based on the drunken style and they fight only under the influence of alcohol. The Xelors or Xelor’s Sandglass are a Dofus race that influence time. They can also command obedience from machines and mechanisms such as watches, clocks and other timepieces.
The type of Dofus race or class you choose may depend on your personality, your play style and what you’re in the mood for at the time. If you have already tried some of the classes, you may want to try something new. It can be great fun to try each of the 12 and learn as much as possible about them and discover when one you like playing the most.
